Editorial Standards
This site earns a commission on qualifying purchases made through its links. That is disclosed in the footer of every page. It does not change what is published: specification figures are transcribed as Decofy states them, not written to flatter a listing.
Where the figures come from
Every specification is taken from Decofy's own listing title, feature text and Creators API product data. Of the 24 products in the brief, 20 are published: two returned no data from the API and two belong to another brand. Nothing has been measured in person by this site's publisher.
What is checked rather than assumed
Dimensions are compared between the listing text and Amazon's item data. Each figure in the dimensions table says whether both sources agree or only Amazon's item data gives it; where they disagree, no figure is picked and both are shown. Where a listing contradicts itself - a loft bed called Twin in its title and full size in its description - the product card says so. A listed weight that cannot be right (34 lb for a 63 in dresser) is not shown at all.
Product names
Product names on this site put the product type first and the size after it, so the name says what the piece is before how big it is. The Amazon title is shown under each product page heading.
What is deliberately not here
Prices. They change daily; a printed price is wrong within a week.
Ratings and reviews. They belong to the platform that collected them, and are read there.
Assembly instructions. They come with the product and are on each listing.
Load ratings that aren't published. A capacity is quoted only where the listing states it.
